Part 1 is Here! First ‘Secret History’ Video Released!
Posted by Gary Geck on November 21st, 2010OK, here it is. Part 1 of 42 of my YouTube series revealing the meaning of life! Part 1 introduces mathematician Georg Cantor as well as the story to come and a fascinating note on Abraham Robinson and some ‘forbidden knowledge’ your calculus teacher probably doesn’t even know:
Be sure to bump it up to full 1080p HD if your computer is fast enough. The meaning of life looks better in HD. Mp3 version here.
Thank you so much for this, please please keep posting the other videos.
Very nice video, but the volume of the music was very annoying and made it hard to concentrate on your voice.
You are not the only one to say the music is too loud. I’ll have to fix that in future videos. You can always turn on closed captioning as all of my videos have that.
Also, Sylvanus P. Thompson at least endorsed infinesimals in application to the Calculus long before Abraham Robinson made the method de
rigueur.
